Our Pack Leaders- Meet the Team!
As most of you know, we have been fortunate enough, with your help, to expand our business in these past few years since we’ve started Walk a Pup. There is something to be said about the synchronicity that has come in to play with the growth of our business. We have reached points when...

we discuss not taking on new clients, and we go through a struggling period where we feel we have to say no to people, and then magically, out of the blue, we encounter a person that we either know already, or know of, that expresses interest in being a dog walker. One thing leads to another and before we know it, we don’t have to say no to a new client, in fact, we get to help a handful of new people and dogs, and help a friend, by providing a uniquely challenging, yet ever so rewarding job with animals.
As our pack has grown from small to many, our pack-leaders have grown as well. We would like to introduce them all to you, so you at least have a face to place with the name at the end of your note. So here’s a bit about them and how they came to be
with Walk a Pup................

I met Dan and Yana while working together years ago. Last fall, after graduating from Endicott, Yana offered me a job with their booming business. I thought, "Sure! That could be fun." It's a year later and I'm loving everyday! (Yes, even if it's raining) Each day is an adventure, that's what makes our job so fun!!

As an ex-ski racer, I instinctively understand the value of positively re-enforced discipline. Plus I'm a super affectionate dog-lover, so I've found being one of the Walk A Pup pack-leaders to be really rewarding and tons of fun. I love getting to know the personalities, strengths and quirks of each dog!! I also enjoy finding new ways to maximize my time with each pup and to get them so tired out and happy that they won't even dream of mis-behaving while their owners are at work!

In the past, I have worked in several different fields including science and pastry, but in each case something was missing. Animals are a very important part of my life and I am always looking for a way to give back some of the unconditional love I have been given through the years. Walk a pup is a perfect fit for me and I am so excited to be a part of Yana and Dan's team. Olive, my boston terrier, is very excited to meet her new friends too!

Hi, My name is Amanda!! I have always owned dogs and was determined to turn my love for them into a career. I recently graduated with a degree in Animal Science as an Animal Care Specialist. After discovering Walk A Pup and learning about their great reputation, I knew I wanted to be a part of their team. I am excited to be doing something I am passionate about, and to be able to include my own dogs Tia and Sawyer as well!

Hi I'm Tina and I have been an animal lover and owner all of my life. I currently have four cats at home, so I am unable to have a dog of my own. In my free time I enjoy making beaded jewelry, taking pictures, hiking and spending time in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire with my husband. Being a Walk a Pup pack leader is so rewarding and perfect for me because I have always had a yearning to work with animals. It is so fulfilling to work with all of the different dogs, they are all so special, each in his or her own way. Now I look forward to each day as a new and exciting adventure.

As a long-time animal lover, I jumped at the chance to meet Yana and Dan, and work for them! With a background in Psychology, I have always been interested in the connection people have with animals. I grew up with the love of a Jack Russell and now get to enjoy the love of my cat. There is no better feeling than the trusting nature and unconditional love of a pet! I have always loved being in the company of any pet and now get to spend time with some of the sweetest pups around! I have learned so much from these Yana and Dan, and feel lucky to be able to interact and observe the different personalities and communication styles of each dog. There is a whole language to learn from the pups and I feel fortunate to be able to understand and communicate with them! I think the best start to any day, rain or shine, is a wet-nosed doggy kiss and a few belly rubs!
